Baptism is a significant step in the life of a follower of Christ. It's a public declaration that reveals a prior, personal encounter with Jesus and the desire to surrender everything to Him. Baptism doesn't save a person, rather, it shows that a person has already been saved. It's a step of obedience that follows repentance of sin and faith in Christ's saving work. It's an outward expression of an inward reality— a visible sign of the invisible, amazing grace of God.
A sense of belonging is a human need just like the need for food and shelter. Belonging to a community can even improve your motivation, health and happiness. You have a place to belong at Brookwood. Embark on a journey into a deeper life with God. This intensive 7-week discipleship program will help you learn to hear God's voice clearer, grow in a meaningful relationship with Him, learn to be transparent with others, and gain a clearer picture of your role in God's Kingdom.
Grow in faith and build meaningful relationships with other Christians. At Brookwood, you'll find a variety of groups that meet different days and times during the week. Many Community Groups discuss Sunday's message using the weekly Discussion Guide, while others may study a book of the Bible or other topics relevant to life.
This one-day workshop will assist you in understanding how your personality, spiritual gifts, abilities and passions combined with your life experiences are uniquely woven together by God for a specific purpose.
Getting connected at a new church can cause apprehension, and we realize not everyone wants to start at the same place.
